Try

I kept the discomfort
You left in my chest
When you left me alone
On my own, like the rest
I’ll atone for my sins
So wish me the best
Who could’ve known
We’d end up in this mess
Even though, you’ve shown
You couldn’t care less
On the phone with attitude
Adding more stress
All the insults you’ve thrown
While trying to express
Every ounce of pain you maintain
Falling short of happiness
But still we try...
