Truth To Be Told
She ran fast and far, across wooded lands, deserts, east to west.
Trying her hardest to out run the pain and problems at best
It failed in brewing sand storms while the culprit remained inside
There was no place for her to run, there was no place to hide
She had to sit on barren land and face the depth of what she knew
Decide to work at healing the open wounds before they grew
Because without looking within, she would not be able to see
The buds to her blooming dreams waiting, with any clarity
So, she stopped in her choice to take the most difficult road yet
The road of truth to be told that would leave her without regret
