Truth as it appears
On waking from sleep,
before thought forms leap,
we in all fairness,
are pure awareness.
Alive and able
but with no label,
we are as we are,
a luminous star.
Remaining thus we
mirrorlessly see
with our inner sight,
that we’re living light.
Then looking at form,
manifests a storm
related to fear
of body held dear.
Putting thoughts on pause,
we discern the cause
of meanings assigned,
from truth misaligned.
