Truth and Light
They want to hear me talk about my past, present and future,
They want to see me pen my flaws,
And how I stitched them with good intentions.
They want to hear me say how I defied the laws of gravity,
Went up and never want to hit the ground again,
They wanna hear me talk about love and whom I want to marry.
They want to hear me say the street and hustling are the world's most neglected religions,
They want to hear me say how I skipped religion and politics,
Because the two brought discrimination and intolerance.
They want to hear me talk about how Europe underdeveloped Africa,
How I've suffered and how I'm going to die,
Sorry, ain't here for that now,
I'm just trying to satisfy my intense and insatiable hunger for light and truth.
