Truth

Standing on the edge of the earth,
afraid of the fall
until I found you.
Lost in a maze of suspicion and lies,
afraid of the words
until I found truth.

I surrender my heart to your faithful possession,
your smallest desire is my greatest obsession.
Our strength is defined in one merciful kiss,
our weakness a passion that demands more than this.

Promise truth
and I will take you to the edge of the earth
where fear is behind us
and hope mends our wings
now that we've found love.
