Truth

Do spy around, to all your blind eye can see.
I too see what is unspoken today.
For in your path, what remains, lies broken.
The dust settles.

Times past, perhaps, I could imagine life most different..
And now, I am left to own what is certain to remain.
Your truth; your truth is the truth for us all.

Broken and tired you are. I am certain.
I too grow weary.

Once, my tears fell just for you.
Now knowing; your heart is heartless.
So cold.

You destroy with no thought .
As paths cross with yours, some poor soul will fall victim.

Your presence is known; for nothing remains.
Without regret, you look back as you move on.

Remorse?  You have none;
That of which I am in fear of the most.
