Truth
Forgive them father
For they know not what they do
They idolize an image
Without following through
Their fruits tell a story
Revealing the darkest of souls
Condemning one another
Holding hands for the show
They tolerate others
There’s validity in groups
“You’re going to hell”
“We love you – we really do”
One book is metaphor
One is the Holy truth
Discernments not necessary
Why? There’s no proof
So how do we live?
Which way is the way?
Jesus did have a message
We’re not listening – we just pray
The problem is charlatans
Standing in the pew
No wait – there’s an audience
He can’t be him without you
So wake up
There is a new day
I envision a world
Where we actually do what we say
Do unto others
As you would have them do unto you
Do what is right
The reward? Damn - It’s what you do
The reward of heaven?
The fear of hell?
Come on – wake up
It’s just a hard sale
Get your sh-- together
Get your head out of your a--
Do the right thing
Be Jesus with class
He died for your sins
He hung for your soul
You waste your whole life
To be buried in a hole
We’ve only got one shot
This is your time
To waste what’s been given
Now that’s a freaking crime
There’s only one life
What will you do?
Heaven or hell?
It’s all up to you
God Bless
