Trust Someone

I'm someone who can call a friend,
Or someone who can call a foe,
I'm someone you need help from in the end,
Or someone you wish you didn't want to know.

I can be somebody you can relate,
Or somebody you need to stay away,
I can be somebody you like to see anyday,
Or somebody who is negative an full of hate.

Can you trust me along with my flaws?
Would you do it without hesitation?
Would you be together with just anybody just because?
Would you risk being friends with just anyone out
Of desperation?
Is it really hard to trust someone, even in your own home?
I can trust somebody in this cruel world, I'm just not that foolish.

Please, in these times of Inferno-like concentration all shot-through the media, let's all remember to remember that it was and must again be a whole Divine Comedy. Inferno, then, Purgatorio, and, finally, inevitably, Paradiso, where Dante welcomed the sight of his Beatrice in Heavenly form.
