Please trust me Baby when you see me smile for these thoughts I have are only of you, don't turn away, let me gaze for awhile down deep in your soul through your eyes, deep blue. Yeah trust me Baby as you gaze at me, in my heart you'll see my feelings are true, believe in me Baby, I'll set you free, and show you I feel the pain you've been through. Just trust me Baby and I know we'll be the center of this cold desolate world, together, forever just you and me, as our beautiful story is unfurled. Trust me Baby, dry your eyes and think of how right this could be, you know ...this is love. 07/12/2017

This is a lovely sonnet. I like the part about your smile. Best wishes for the contest. I guess I am an odd shoe because I didn't think people would take those words with sincerity. I read what you said about Barry White. So true. Those songs were made for seduction and I could hear him saying this. Good luck.

Thank you Janis. It was intentionally meant to have a rather disjointed everyday speech type of flow. I did not write the phrase together so I could change the way it is perceived when it is read.
