trust, love, secure
i met you when you were scared,
i promised i would be there,
to hold you tight n keep you safe,
to chase away the blues night and days,
holding you close and in my arms,
promising you i understand,
be there when your afraid,
keeping you safe,
and making the way,
guarding your heart
so that your not hurt.
keeping you close
from the dark side o love,
wanting your soul not to be afraid,
learning you to love and not walk away
time has passed but your troubles still there,
watching you walk and also in fear,
scared of things and pulling you down
i promise you a would stay around,
don't be afraid to let them go,
kick the fear with your big fat toe,
moving on away from your past,
finding a love that you know will last,
holding your hand and saying its true,
for i am honest when a say i love you,
hold me close and feel my heart,
it will guide you through the dark,
keeping you safe and o so warm,
i just hope you see our love is strong,
look in my eyes you will see the truth,
love me forever as i do you,
troubles grow, and you back away,
wonder if your scared in every way,
scared of loving and moving along,
wish a could sing,
and sing you a love song,
feeling my hand and all my warmth,
feeling the love that is so strong,
never will cheat nor tell a lie,
for your the only girl in my eye,
come hold me close and be as one,
love you forever and never do no wrong,
never shout nor raise my voice,
giving you loving and all my joy,
please let me love you as it is so true,
don't let your fear chase me away from you,
its things of history that's all in past,
as i promised you our love will last,
so out the dark and in the sun,
this is a new love and life's just begun,
loving you night and day,
i promise you i will chase your fear away,
holding you close and in my arms,
just want you to remember,
i am your man,,,,,,
