Trust

Do you sleep at night
knowing if you would open your eyes?
Dawn comes do you stand there
to see if the sun is on time?
Do you hold your breathe
above water, scared
there will be no air left?
Would you ever doubt tomorrow's promise?
Why can't you trust my intentions?
Nature obeys Time's demand,
changing during the seasons.
My heart is destroyed
worse than a nation broken in two pieces.
