Trust

Trust is a pain
People hopscotch on a field of landmines
Nothing lost, nothing gained
Not knowing the labyrinth’s pattern

People hopscotch on a field of landmines
Overwhelming temptation to challenge
Not knowing the labyrinth’s pattern
Justice served, yet injustice prevailed

Overwhelming temptation
Nothing lost, nothing gained
Justice served, yet injustice prevailed
Trust is a pain
