Trust

Trust is the cement and bricks in relationships
unseen, yet every wall depends upon its strength.
Without it, love is only scaffolding; it cannot stand.

Trust is also egg and glass,
once shattered, no apology can mend each crack.
You may gather every shard, but the fracture remembers.

So handle it with reverent hands,
more precious than gold, more fragile than breath.
For trust is not rebuilt it is re-earned, slowly, in silence,
through choices that prove you worthy of what you hold.
