Truncated Plans
I was all stoked
ready to roll
when suddenly
someone else
announced
she is in charge.
Shift gears!
Put it in second.
We're going
down hill
to sea level,
where energy
glides upon
calm waters,
no waves.
Will she
take the helm
or let us drift
aimlessly
as it has been
awhile now.
