True Treasures

They glint and gleam in sunlight,
and give pride to one who owns
Rubies, Emeralds, Diamonds -
they're ‘World’s most precious stones'.

People wear them round their necks
as they want to change their looks,
But the true treasures found on Earth
are humans' best friends - books.

Yes, you are so right. BOOKS are much more valuable. What if mankind had no more machines and nothing modern.Between books and jewels, for his edification and survival , he would need books over gems.
