True Spring

Dear God, breathe the life of new birth
Into this cold and frozen land
Let the seeds buried deep within
Force themselves through the barren earth
Guide them with the sunshine, strong
Freeing them from their seasoned prison
Allowing them to awaken with watered hope
Dually granting all the pleasure of your spring
For our own growth, through love and life

I am ready for that thing called spring. We have had the coldest winter since they started recording temperatures. So the radio said this morning. Phyl
