True Reward - Iambic Monometer

When once
       taught laws
             from past
                    pretense
                            constrain;
                                    hold back
                                                   One wakes
                                                          to find
                                                                he's hence
                                                                      so sought
                                                                      and fought
                                                                      Now bought...
                                                                                      His true
                                                                                                Reward

AnnaLinda that is an awesome Monomeric poem! I wrote and submitted one to the Rob Frost Farm Poetry contest myself and you should enter it yourself it only costs 6 USD per poem to enter. You would probably win or at least receive an Honorable mention. Brian Mino :)

Andrea, That's nice of you to comment on this. Yes, when I took the challenge, I really did not understand it. Whew...I probably won't do that again. Thank you, AnnaLinda
