True Love Waits
Dashing letter upholds all bitter
as tears roll to a never ending spot
and cash out all what left litter
anger repeats itself; an affairs lot
left all haze and maze caught
an struggle to devour what once was our;
never hence forgot whence you have left
an kept me lone oneself; bound to cover.
i wept an wept for years i heft
to close or cover one wound, a lover
accuse me not for i am not to strive
that bitter feeling dived;long beyond your live
i longed to attempt to pardon you but rive'd
was looking for something to grasp but never found.
Tears are all but not to forget
times yet a hint of what tear can give
and i gave you more than thou tho' left
i couldn't bear no more; i had to dive
but yet what else could i have done
when you left me an run; counts five
one hand was left alone craving another dawn
i forgive you i said for what i carried was heavy
but suddenly i found nothing there to split
all i long to tell thee is yet beyond love and envy
for time exists in th' midst of th' fist
an i will forever be like thee;
for you have given me all
what i can wait for; even beyond time or fall
