True Love That Lasts Always

True love that lasts always
Should be shown in many ways
A gentle, sweet soft caress,
Or a kiss placed upon my breast
Words you whisper while making love,
Mean more than you've ever thought of

Knowing that you'll stay forever
Makes me smile no matter whatever
Friends at first, but lovers now,
I want you anyway or anyhow
You showed your real emotions to me
So now I can love you freely

Janice, knowing your lover will accept you "any way or anyhow" gives such comfort, doesn't it. Such a touching work! Carolyn

Lovers who start out as friends are usually the best kind. Another beautiful love poem. Hugs, Shar
