True Liberation - Galatians 5: 1
As a believer in Christ
instructed to stand fast
in our purchased liberty
from our yoke of the past
This is our gift been given
from Christ our atoning substitute
as He paid the perfect sacrifice
so we can bear its fruit
Freedom we have received
from the yoke of our bondage
set free in the love of Christ
escape from God's awful rage
So let us walk freely
for in Christ free we've been set
not entangled anymore in sin
to Christ we owe this debt
For to God, we give thanks
we stand in true liberation
freely given by His grace
to receive His great salvation
AUTHOR NOTES: Galatians 5:1 (KJV) 1. Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
