True Friends
I see beyond your veil
I hear the voice of your silence
I touch the air you breathe
I am your friend
You hid your secrets with me where they won't budge
You poured your heart to me cos I won't judge
You prayed me a miracle in the midst of the surge
You are my friend
I talk to you even when you can't hear me
I smile at you even when you can't see me
I hold your hand even when you can't feel me
I am your friend
Your lips speak the truth others fear
Your eyes tell a story loud and clear
Your hands drip with oil and myrrh
You are my friend
I see the strength in your weakness
I see the light in your darkness
I see the joy in your sadness
I am your friend
