True Friend
You bring me up when I'm down
and keep me happy when I need to be
I remember the words you speak
they forever stay on my mind
Through the late hours of the night
our thoughts and feelings are revealed
I need this time to reflect
The support through chains
that grow ever stronger
Time is confined right now
but I know the bond is there
Something so consistant
that I'm able to rely on
I'm so grateful for that
This is how I know you'll always be my friend
