True Devotion
My dearest darling it is true
when I say that I love you
I’ll love you forever and a day
and after that I’ll find a way,
Sometimes I say words and do
Things that you don’t want me to
You must realize that these notions
do not show my true devotions.
So remember well what I’ve said
For my darling when we’re wed
You’ll always know that I love you
no matter what I say or do!
