Troubles

I got to you, then I let you down

You broke down your walls, you thought I was something true

I’m sorry for all the pain I caused

All your troubles, all my flaws

I have to say it was with no intention

To hurt you the way I did

I tried with every inch of me to give you what you needed

But that was not enough, you see

I tried too hard to please you

Now I can’t find the heart I gave to you

The one that was once so pure, so willing, so true.
