Trouble
I sat in a cell
waiting for bail
or any sense of
security
but all I got
was a sick feeling
my life flashed
before my eyes
just like the cop car
that brought me here
I shook
I cried
I felt like coming
out of my body
and slapping myself
at this point I was looked
Upon as a criminal
No matter if this was
my first offense
I felt like I had failed
forget the bail
my ship had sailed.
