Notes About The Poem

TRIUMPHANT IN LIFE'S RACE

Trusting God's promises each day so blest, beholding divine grace engulfed with hope of cheerful ray heart triumphs in running life's race. Excited well for tomorrow my faith is propped by the Lord’s brace strong to conquer pain, grief and woe heart triumphs in running life's race. Eternal future, gladly bright Awaits in the Saviour’s place having served with sincere delight heart triumphs* in running life's race. Trusting God's promises each day heart triumphs in running life's race.
*2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. February 15, 2024 Sonnet Kyrielle Honorable Mention, "NA" Poetry Writing Contest Sponsored by Ink Empress; judged on 5/15/2024
