Triumph Luster
Triumph luster can forever last against stain!
Verily true when won thru God’s might and His grace
With faith in His might as the Supreme sovereign.
Victory medals glow with accomplishments’ gain
While the focus is on the Lord in running the race…
Triumph luster can forever last against stain.
Trophies garnered in battles will just be in vain
When selfishness is upheld by arrogance-brace
Showing patina’s tarnishing effect so plain.
Pageant crowns sparkle with pleasant beauty midst pain
As virtuous deeds accompany worship-praise
Triumph luster can forever last against stain.
Championship belts may hide every corrosion-strain
But not the rust of greed and envy with their trace
That are encroaching the heart and hurting the vein.
Jewels of genuine works shine on servant’s terrain
Gems of life-building treasures reflect prayer rays
Triumph luster can forever last against stain
In honoring the Lord* midst His loving domain.
