Triumph

I recall a time when I had to address
A time where I loved more and began to hate less
The story rotates around the time that we met
You walked in my life and the story was set
Prior to meeting the hatred was strong
Eroding away at the happiness that should have belonged
You touched my heart and turned everything around
Brought me out of the clouds and made my feet touch the ground
I recall a time where you had me down
Woke me from a nightmare to sleeping sound
I thank you for saving me when you walked in my life
Hoping one day you shall be my wife
