Trip To Eternity

I am a lonely sailor
on the bow to eternity.
No family, no friends,
no place to be

I sit and I think
the waters so calm.
I can't wait for the colors
of the oncoming dawn.

Yellows and reds,
and deep shades of blue.
I look at the colors
and it makes me all anew.

This bow is a good thing
if this is what you see,
so I don't really mind
this trip to eternity.
