Trinity Sunday

The ground was strewn with fragrant, freshly cut grass, blue sky shined like glass, cool breeze stirred the willow tree, birds chirped beneath the window panes, loveliness for everyone to see, houses surrounded by flower beds, charming landscapes, a rich day, regal in every way, eyes can’t seem to turn away, something glorious on this Trinity Sunday

Nice use of imagery. Sounds like a bit of spring to me--I can't wait for the snow to be gone and green grass once again. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us and for taking time to comment on my poem. Keep on writing! Have a nice day. Karen

You have touched on many senses in this timely poem that serves as a canvas for your great faith, Frank. I can smell the grass, see the houses and landscapes, and feel the cool breeze. I was raised Catholic. Is Trinity Sunday the same as Easter Sunday, or is it Palm Sunday?

OMGOSH, OMGOSH my mouth dropped open. I read it 3,,,3 times looking for the twist. I was sure the blue sky would turn to real glass and fall ripping people to shreds or the flower beds reveal fingers or noses. You dearest sunshine have written a work of beauty, are you trying to get on God's good side before Trinity Sunday? Have you fallen in love and your outlook on the world in general is glowing or perhaps you are just eating chocolate and getting high on the endorphins, You're SO Cute!

Awww. this is marveleous Frank. I really mean that, palm Sunday and Easter are my favorite holidays of all time! Your imagery is brilliantly heart felt. I can tell it means alot to you :) ~ I will be leaving the 4th and coming back the day after Easter to spend Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday with my best friends parents. Lovely there, way out in the country on the w va, kentucky, ohio border. I can't wait for the Sunrise service :) :) :)
