Trick Or Treat

The sky is dark,
                                 the moon and stars are out shedding 
                     its soft glowing light to reflect on all that is in its way

                     The wind is slightly blowing making the light reflected 
                             leafs on the trees dance in the moonlight 

                      The sounds of the night creatures are like a concert
                                      being played for all to hear

                      The goblins, ghost, witches, and warlocks or out prowling
                                    keeping up with all the superheroes

                             Knocking on doors to scare who ever answers  
                         with their bags full of candy yelling Trick or Treat

Entertaining write, Eve, and I like the imagery. In Malta Halloween is slowly establishing root, though in reality it's only a recent addition to our calendar. Take care. // paul

Hi Eve, so it is that time of the year again, goodness it comes around quick, we celebrate it as well but not quite as big as you over there, it only started here about 15 years ago (I think), started off very small but now it is getting bigger, you have written a great write here, loved it...........take care my friend.....Vera.......

Thank you Vera, the trick or treators have been moving to the churches now, since you have not nice people. Only a few children show up anymore with their parents. :) eve

Eve, A very nice light Halloween write here. I enjoyed this piece very much. A nice counterbalance on Halloween to some of the dark, murky themes that I and some others have written on. I do remember the much fun I had too as a little kid many years ago during Halloween. Bravo!! Enjoyed it!! Cheers, Gary (And a "7" from me too!!)

Thank you Brenda, had to write this small piece, my daughter in-law bought my 3 year old grandson a super hero costume for Halloween that he does not want to take off :) eve
