Tribute To Love
The sunset quivers
on memory’s sea.
Reminiscence dreams
of you and me.
Mellow tones
in golden hues
jazzing the steps
with hidden clues.
Reflections move
in quavering depth.
Dreaming for me
is a forward step;
There’s room
in this boat, now,
for more than we.
You’ve become
the memory
of how it should be
With true love
a reflection,
ever following me
I’ll launch
from this shore
into life’s sea.
