Tribute To God Entrapped By a Dream

In my dreams
I walk along the shores
The Sea is calm
The night is still

Under my feet the sand is soft
The wind blows vigorously
In my direction
I hear whispers

Voices calling from a distance
I stop, look and listen
Can't you hear them
My sight taken from me

The dark night fog has blinded me
Lost in my sins
Consume by greed
Broken by addiction

Confused by madness
Where am I buried in a world
Caught in its own destruction

Faith has lost his gloss
Mankind has no mercy
Unity and Humanity entrapped
Children have no imagination

Fantasy has no place
Mother nor Father has authority
Sister and Brother know no boundaries
Man and Woman caught in battle

As death stands patiently at the door
Child born to rare his own
Souls crying from afar
Bodies falling by thee hour

Both Mother and Father
At the burial ground
Covered in tears of blood
As the gate keeper of hell laughs aloud

Hope steps in and plunges me from sleep
Awaken to be carried by an angel
I noticed two footprints in the sand
My god has not forsaken me.
