Tribute To Gary

There was a little boy borne
His name was Gary
His life was not to be
God took him to be in His choir of angels
I did not get to see, touch or hold you
I did not get to see your first smile, giggle or your first tooth
Also missed your first word and first step
All the first I missed but it was meant to be
As the years marched by, you would be a grown man
I visualize you as a handsome married man with a family
But there is the love for you still tucked away in my heart
I know that you have watched over and taken care of me
Just like a good son does so often
When I meet you in heaven
We will have a lot to talk about
Till then just know that I LOVE you
