Tribute To Charlie Daniels
Charlie went up to heaven...
He and his soul of steel
He said "If you don't mind I'll leave my music behind...
I made that devil a deal"
He came across him when he was young
Sawin' on a fiddle playin' it hot
He won a fiddle of gold against his soul
A lesson the devil never forgot
Charlie rosined up his bow...
And he put the devil to rest
Still, till this day even with his wings
Charlie Daniels played the fiddle the best
(R.I.P.)
