Tribute To a Special Woman
Mothers are honoured on Mother's Day!
To memory of a courageous woman respect I pay,
Who did not give birth to any child,
but cared for many disadvantaged with a merciful mind.
She was with my mother, day and night,
when mom was fragile and sick - the person right
was my father's sister, even with a demanding job, who did not
hesitate to embrace the children distraught!
She struggled with severe disability of her own,
but even a heart wrenching disability couldn't break her down.
That was the life-lesson from her we learned,
Never let sufferings get your courageous spirit burned!
To powerless children, she exemplified, how to show
compassion and love, how to be brave, although
in adverse situations, keep their heads high ~
and reach for the stars, no limit in the sky.
How can you be more of a mother
with unconditional love creating a life together ~
than being for the frail children who need care,
My Aunt proved beyond doubt she was the Mom rare!
