Trial and the Judgement

Thrashed her life in that vicious fuscous night
Tattered her body in that mucky verdant site
Shattered her dreams in that bloody wicked plight-
Four feigned “civilized” beasts enjoyed their bite.

They waited their turn to deracinate her
With ears and hearts fastened against her prayer.
In ineffable agony, nature tried to cover
Her broken form with a leafy, gentle shower.

When tired they spared her for a midget time
And wrapped in a blanket to set a meacock crime
Soaked her in fuel, then burned her as their scheme—
And disenthralled the soul of the decubitus dame.

Now tell me the judgement of these cruel critters
Hang or guillotine — let justice find its splitters.
Lynching or castration — the punishment we impose,
Sharpen your quills — let the verdict close.

Nice poem. I can see the context! I feel castration followed by hanging. That is my judgement!

Powerful write, Jenish. The message needs to be pounded home, and this certainly pounds it hard. Bravo, Gershon

Cruelty towards women should be stopped.. If not, at least the culprits need to be punished..

This is one more evidence that too many things in this world go unpunished. They do deserve to be judged by the Almighty, rest assured he sees all, and all will get their righteous judgement! So sad you need to keep writing about it Jenish, but well said, well written!Powerful pen!

I had the best lines and response, then my computer dumped me out... (soft crying)... I had to restart...darn...I will try again. Poem: Loved it, made me angry and made me love it again. Powerful write... and my pen is ready. I want to rise to the occasion to find new ways to dispose of the cads, that they may know personally, how potatoes are grown, and how long it takes for things buried... to dig their way out, or not?. ... dipping quill for more ink... hehe... Absolutely powerful poetry, Jenish! It pulsates w/passion. And resonates w/moral discretion. A very effective poetic one-two punch to the soular plexus. Magnificent poem! The quill judgment belongs to God Almighty, who judges all things in pure righteousness. Love and more love always.

Such a heartbreaking thing. Your pen spills your passion of judgement for this horrible act. Castrate them, also any of the above mentions. In the end God will judge in righteousness.

This is very intense Jenish--every word so carefully chosen to describe the crime--your poem makes an impact--everything you propose in the final stanza is fair game. Excellent write, Jenish.
