Tremendous Suspicion

We watched our children leave
The cats grew gray and old.
One by one, we put them down.
We say it's purely out of love
I have some doubts.

Only one cat remains.
She looks at me with pure and tremendous suspicion.

I can relate only too well to this gem. Beautiful Panagiota
