Trees

We line the driveway

 where people roam

We get to show our true

 colors all year long.

Generation after generation crossed this path..

Some of us old, some of us new

We are all here to welcome you

What other secrets do we hide,

when we are in full bloom.

Of on a rainy Saturday afternoon.

We get to show our true

 colors all year long

We line the driveway

 where people roam

We are the pride
 of your home !!

Christine, so beautifully penned. Love the tree imagery in your poem.

Beautiful. It hit my eyes this morning, as I was reading the book of Isaiah, this verse: The glory of Lebanon will come to you-its pine, elm, and cypress together-to beautify the place of my sanctuary and I will glorify my dwelling place. …how beautiful is that! I can see and smell it. I love my trees! Hugs
