Tree

It felt like a dream

the colors,
the lilac sky paired with the soft clouds and sky.
Stars and moons a-plenty dance the sun away.

Bark, as rough as claws, yet not a scratch on me as I climb

A snap
          A thump
And a thud as I fell
                       My leg is broken

The now deep purple night taunting me, just as it did the sun
Clouds and stars and moons a-plenty fill my mind
Grass, as soft as fur

A buzz
          A chirp
                     And a tree
