TREE
Me, a strong tree, frolic free
totally independent,
being quite competent
to make own food in glee and spree.
My roots penetrate through soil
holding me stable to stand
on a muddy river strand
where waves thrash in turmoil.
Fixed on ground, I am not static.
Leaves shiver on kiss of breeze.
Roots move slow drawing juice at ease
from Mother Earth : Fantastic !
In every limb I enjoy life
Bunch of flowers bloom at random
Fruits hid seeds using wisdom.
Seeds to spread far-near: My belief.
Each year many saplings come out.
They grow in different places,
increasing my species-populace.
Day by day they develop stout.
