Treasures of the Heart

The treasures of the heart lay buried
Beneath a load of sin
It’s ignored that they are carried
Until the light comes in
Jesus is the lighted way
The treasury of dreams
He will mold your heart of clay
And fill your dried up streams
The cares we carry so abound
We can’t even see the light
Bound by troubles all around
We’re waiting for our sight
When by Him sin is cleansed
And life springs forth anew
Treasures of our life are sensed
Brought plainly into view
