Treasure Of The Sands
It is truly amazing
Seashells washed upon the shore
It is hard to believe that it started as something’s home
I wonder what happened to the animal that created it
Such beautiful colors and patterns
Rainbows of color painted into a small space
Did they know that they were creating beauty?
Did they know that women would kill to wear their shells?
Such beauty from animals that live on the bottom of the sea
Neptune was gracious enough to share his treasure
Treasure anyone can find
Found on the gentle sands
Shining in the warm midday sun
It is truly amazing
