Treasure

the treasured places that hides within
brings me closer to me my closet friend
the mere blessings of you and yet
through  the lifting of my head when wet

i cater to thee and all that i am
brings me such solace i can't explain
how forgiveness and joy forms in me inspite
the warm cozy days and cold winter nights

the glow of love shines throughout pain
while gladness in me makes my eyes rain
as the mere thought pours right on by 
the nature in life calls beauty in sight 
the mere thought of a gem glows so just right

as the breeze comes closer and into view
i know that light is coming from you
why the days all go by why somewhat fast
i can only hold on to what's now and past
above empty spaces that fills where life is 
for my blessings from my father i am all his
