Tread Softly

Tread softly
as if I am a fluffy cloud
whisper only kind words
make every touch
gentle as if I had paper wings
treat my heart with loving care
I have but one-
but most of all be thoughtful dear
in all you say and do
for if you want our love to last
make not the mistakes 
we made in the past
tread softly.
