Traversing the Trinity
In the dark alley of time my soul wanders
With life stumbling on pitfalls of blunders
The frailty of the indistinct fragile future
Casts shadow of despair on my innate nature
That is consumed in the darkness tormenting
Turning my spent spirit into Tamasic nothing.
I search for a glittering highway to escape
And to carve for my life an egoistic shape
Configuring the elements of desire in essence
Chasing the migrating mirage of opulence
Until in the mindscape sprouts sagacious sense
Not to be allured by Rajasic impermanence.
Detached from the transient life’s thread thin
I now sink to the depth of eternal soul within
Where time is lost in the timeless deep silence
Where the joy of living dances in resonance
With the pristine perception rising from abyss
I am then the supreme in sublime Sattvaic bliss.
