Traveller

Am a traveller, crossing this ocean, braking tides. Am a traveller, journeying from birth till life is done. Am a traveller, missing childhood and fighting youth. Am that traveller who rose up before lights were born, when dew was still wet. Am that traveller who has oil driping from his head, with tender gloss greasing his soul. Am that traveller, journeying on four, two and three, that one who became two and from two to a generation. Am that traveller completing the circle of life, adding dread to death's name. Am that pitiful traveller who fades away before my destination, stolen away by age and ill. Am a traveller, journeying to a place where only heart can reach... I am a mortal MAN.
