Traveling the Stillness

A rooted backyard rock, blooms in the morning sunlight. All night it has been time travelling through the history of the earth, now it is flowering, for the light has reshaped it into stillness once more. For an unfurling moment we both cast no shadow upon this spiraling eon, as we orbit a sun together.
