Trauma Bonding With Darkness
recognising our default orientation as trance
purity of silence too scarred by thought spirals
our presence neither immanent nor transcendent
yet deludedly affirms meaningful dwelling in darkness
akin to the irony highlighted in Plato’s allegory of the cave
