Traps

You feel stuck,
Is there an escape?
Is there an unlocked door?
You crave freedom so much
There's nothing you want more.

Hearts trapped in souls,
Souls trapped in bodies,
Bodies trapped in societies,
Societies trapped in expectations,
Sooner or later you'll realise
That there is no pause.

So all in all,
We're all prisoners
Trapped in brick walls
Waiting for someone
To bail us out.
